Summer Hoedown '25

Buckle up for Summer Hoedown ‘25—this one’s going to be out of this world! We’re taking over the legendary Thornbury Theatre for our biggest boot scootin’ blowout yet!

If you’ve been to our weekly classes, you already know the moves, and this is where it all takes off. Expect a full evening of the unrivalled thrill of dancing alongside several hundred other cosmic hotties who know exactly(ish) when to grapevine!

The theme this time? Space Cowboy. So shake out your best Y2K silver, polish those speed-dealer sunnies, and prepare for lift-off. Think silver foil, stardust, and hillbilly alien-abductees—we’re here for it all! Costumes are optional, but trust us… they’re half the fun.

Total beginners and seasoned line-dancers all welcome, so come along for the music, moves, and more fun than a malfunctioning laser gun!

And always remember: In space, no one can hear you yeehaw… (soz, couldn’t help ourselves!)

Disco Rodeo is run by Kitty & Lu, partners in scooting and in life. Lu’s the real dancer, Kitty’s in it for the lols (and the outfits), and together we bring our preoccupation with killer tunes and over-the-top costumes to every class and hoedown. Our playlists swing from Americana to classic country & western via disco, rock, and Y2K electro-pop—the only rule is that the song’s a banger!
